"Breaking the Circle" is my most passionate and favorite piece from Breaking Gold series. Breaking Gold series depicts is a time period from my youth when I was fighting for mere survival. My figure here is bare, naked. She has nothing but she is still fighting, still breaking the shackles (here a gold bracelet- that the society has tied her up with especially being a female).
This piece was created purely out of love reminiscing the painful joy and celebrating human determination -when we follow what our heart says is true, when we follow the path to freedom.
